A large range of ininhibited organic wines in Gaillac
In Gaillac, an innovative partnership focused on the region's grape varieties
Located in Montels, in the heart of the Gaillac region, Domaine Puech Roques covers 4 hectares of organically cultivated vines, with plans to expand to 8 hectares in a few years. Created in 2024 by Christine and Stéphane Gautrot with oenologist Arnaud Iffat, it embodies a unique model of transmission: shared governance, progressive distribution of capital, and a planned handover in ten years.
The Puech Roques team
"One for all, all for one!"
That could be our motto. There are three of us, different but complementary, united by our love for the Gaillac vineyards. On the roads to Compostela, we are reviving vines and a landscape to share the meaning of life.
Our organic wines
For Arnaud, our oenologist, making wine is not a
simple transformation of grapes, but a creative and demanding process: "What I love is the diversity of terroirs. We
start with a grape, and all the different wine profiles can express themselves."
With a keen eye for finesse, Arnaud seeks powdery tannins, tension, and delicacy in his wines. Particular attention is paid to blends and the diversity of vinification methods: "The more diversity we have, the more fun we can have and the more precise we can be."
Adrien ★★★★★
I discovered the Puech Roques range of wines (red, white, rosé, and sparkling) and what a delightful discovery! Organic wines that are perfect for aperitifs, easy to drink, and delicately crafted! Arnaud and the team are extremely friendly and have a wonderful project that is both people-oriented and respectful of the land! Long live the estate!
Thierry ★★★★★
A very warm welcome at the estate, with the three owners making themselves very available despite their heavy workload. We were treated to a short tour of the improvements underway and a much-anticipated tasting!
Special mention for the Bonaval white, the Combes red, the 431 and the sparkling Prat, which may well replace our champagne in the future.
We left with a case of these excellent wines to enjoy at our leisure, and we are already looking forward to discovering the 2025 vintage in the new premises!
